How can I make folder windows transparent
Published on November 23, 2007 By espmartin In WindowBlinds
Hello All,

Is there a way to make the window of a "My Computer" folder transparent? Not the titlebar, borders, statusbar - but the main window where the files list.

Is it possible?

Thanks and God bless,

Martin E

Thanks Bilbo1930 and vStyler. Do you know if any of the stardock products allows that?

WindowFX can do it in XP on a per-application basis.

When you launch WinFX there is a wizard.  The second to last item is the one you need

I tried it, and added "explorer.exe" as the program to tweak, but the program crashes when I add that to be transparent

Oh well...

I think ye olde windowblinds did it, back in version 3.x I think. But they took it out.
